The Magic of Christmas
The Magic of Christmas
Fa La La La …La La La La!! “It’s The Most Wonderful
Time of the Year!” It really is, isn’t
it?! There is holiday cheer in the air,
everything seems brighter, people seem happier.
There’s sleigh rides in the snow and kissing under the Mistletoe. There is hustle and bustle in the city, pretty
lights on the lampposts, shoppers trying to find that perfect gift for that
special someone. There is Christmas
music playing on the radio, and in the stores, “You Better Watch Out, You
Better Not Cry, and “Rocking Around the Christmas Tree,” or “I saw Mommy
Kissing Santa Clause.” Santa and his
Reindeer are in full force ready to fly in the sky. People gather for big feasts with their loved
ones, there’s sweet treats and eggnog, sitting around the fire place and
unwrapping bright and shiny presents. There
are smiles and laughter and joy fills the air.
So while you are sitting around the fire, sipping on
that eggnog, don’t get your tinsel in a tangle over what you don’t have, or
what you didn‘t get under the tree, but be thankful and grateful for everything
you do have. Enjoy your family and
friends, embrace them, love them and cherish your time with them. Think about those less fortunate than you. Remember the ones you have lost, but are
still with you in spirit.
You see the best gifts cannot be wrapped in a box, or
tied in a bow, or placed underneath a tree, but the truly best gifts are felt
with the heart and can be treasured forever.
So INDULGE in everything Christmas this year, carry on
your traditions, steal a kiss underneath the mistletoe, build a snowman, watch
the snowflakes fall, decorate the tree, FEEL the magic this Christmas season,
and spread the love that lies within you.
